    Hurricane Wilma
Hurricane Wilma has intensified rapidly. The GFS and NOGAPS has it crossing Florida, in the south central region on Saturday into Sunday. Similar tracks shown. After Wilma emerges in the Atlantic, the NOGAPS continues with an intense storm up the coast affecting us. The GFS moves it out to sea. This situation needs to be watched. The NOGAPS is quite good with tropical systems.

    Tropical Storm Wilma
Wilma will likely become a hurricane during the week. Latest NOGAPS model shows Hurricane Wilma making a major turn towards Florida on Saturday. Likely not an intense hurricane, but heavy rains. The track has changed dramatically in the past 12 hours, so expect further changes. The final track of the storm is yet to be determined, but some outflow moisture associated with Wilma in Florida appears to affect us on Saturday.

    Hurricane Ophelia Update
Hurricane Ophelia is likely to turn towards the coastline of Georgia or SC this weekend and poses a rain threat to our area on Wednesday or Thursday, after it makes landfall on Monday night. Intensification is expected before hitting the coastline
