Philly Weekend Weather Update - Sat AM
The GFS has considerably more cloudiness today than the NAM and that seems to be the case right now. While breaks of sunshine are possible today, clouds will predominate.

A stalled front moves through tonight and partial clearing will occur on Saturday, as cooler and drier air filters in. A surface low off the coast along with an upper trough that is expected to become a closed low will give us a mix of clouds and sun on Sunday. The weekend will be dry despite a damp start.

Sat 9/29: Mostly cloudy, some breaks of sun possible. Cool and drier. High 66.

Sun 9/30: A mix of clouds and sun. High 69.

Philly Weekend Weather Forecast - Thu PM
Another sharp dip in the jet stream is expected to develop over the weekend as a steep upper trough moves a cold front through early Saturday evening. Most of the dynamics are expected to be to our north, but some rain showers are possible Saturday evening.

The sharp trough will bring even cooler temps and breezy conditions Sunday and Monday.

Sat 9/22: Broken clouds and breezy mild temps. Showers move in about 6 pm. High 82.

Sun 9/23: Partly sunny, breezy and cool. High 69.

Philly Weekend Weather Forecast - Fri PM
A beautiful weekend on tap, as a sprawling large area of high pressure maintains fair skies and perfect temps.

The weather pattern undergoes an interesting change next week as an anomalous, sharp, amplified upper trough develops in the middle if the country. Moisture and rain develop over our area from late Monday.

Sat 9/15: Sunny and beautiful. High 76.

Sun 9/16: Sunny and beautiful. High 77.
