Typical Summer Weather Continues-- Wed PM
Little organized weather for the next several days, as hot humid air will be pumped in around a typical summertime Bermuda High pressure system.
For Thursday, the model output statistics have a 70% chance of thunderstorms for Thursday afternoon and early evening. With POPs that high, we can probably expect a thunderstorm in many areas late Thursday.
For Friday and the weekend, hot and humid conditions. Dewpoints near 70.
Sat 7/29: Mostly sunny, hot and humid. Chance of a late afternoon/evening thunderstorm. High 95. Dewpoints uncomfortable at 70
Sun 7/30: Partly sunny, hot and humid. High 92. Dewpoints uncomfortable at 70.

July 4th Weekend Update- Sat AM
The GFS continues to be inconsistent with the timing of a disturbance that will approach us, now Tuesday. The GFS gives us considerable rain on Tuesday afternoon. However, the new NAM/WRF (North American Mesoscale Model) has a much more optimistic forecast for both days.
In the past, I would have discounted the NAM but the new NAM, based on WRF physics is proving to be much better than the old NAM (base on the Eta physics). Indeed, the NAM correctly predicted the showers last night that affected northern suburbs around Philadelphia. We'll see how it does for the coming weekend.
Sat 7/1: Mostly sunny. High 89. For the shore, a seabreeze will keep temperatures cool, close to 80.
Sun 7/2: Sunny. Some increase in clouds late in the afternoon. Chance of thunderstorms early evening. High 93. For the shore: A seabreeze will again keep things cool. Thunderstorms will dissipate at the shore.
Mon 7/3: Partly sunny, partly cloudy. High in the 80s.
Sun 7/4: Partly cloudy/sunny. Chance of showers in the afternoon. High mid 80s.
