    Philadelphia Weekend Weather UPDATE - Sat AM
    It's the chaotic and statistical nature of meteorology that make even weather hobbyists like myself wonder about the value of trying to make forecasts.... Friday's models blew the forecast for Friday and similarly blew it for today. The GFS and NAM have reverted back to their scenario of two days ago- rain today, ending during the afternoon and slow clearling.

    Sat 4/11: Cloudy with rain this morning, ending in the afternoon. Slow clearing. High 56.

    Sun 4/12: Mostly sunny, scattered clouds and cool. Breezy. High 53.


    Space Weather: No Sunspots! Solar Flux continues to hover at a very low 70.
    Our cooler than usual weather continues into spring, as the sunspot minimum continues and solar flux remains at a very low level. Expect the spring to continue to be cooler on average. If this continues, expect a cool summer as well. Check out the solar flux at:
