Philadelphia Weekend Weather Forecast - Thurs PM
A low pressure system from the west will cross our area Friday. The GFS shows a second low developing over the Delmarva area on Saturday. (This secondary low formation was consistently hinted at by the GFS for the past several days. This morning's GFS was the most definitive.) The upper trough redevelops as high pressure moves in for Sunday for continued cool weather.
Sat 4/11: Cloudy with heavy rain early, tapering through early afternoon. Ending by mid afternoon. Some sun possible before sunset. High 51.
Sun 4/12: Mostly sunny, scattered clouds and cool. Breezy. High 54.
Space Weather: No Sunspots! Solar Flux continues to hover at a very low 70.
Our cooler than usual weather continues into spring, as the sunspot minimum continues and solar flux remains at a very low level. Expect the spring to continue to be cooler on average. If this continues, expect a cool summer as well. Check out the solar flux at:

A low pressure system from the west will cross our area Friday. The GFS has this low lingering over us into Saturday. The upper trough redevelops as high pressure moves in for Sunday.
Sat 4/11: Cloudy with showers likely in the morning, ending early afternoon. Gradual clearing during the later afternoon. High 51.
Sun 4/12: Mostly sunny and cool. Breezy. High 54.
