Tropical Storm or Hurricane for this Weekend? -Wed PM
This upcoming weekend's forecast will in part be influenced by the track of hurricane Irene. The latest NOGAPS and GFS models bring the storm very close to the NJ coast by late Saturday into Sunday. The NOGAPS, usually more accurate, is further east with the storm, enough so to limit it's impact for NJ and for the PHL area. With grounds so wet, any strong winds will be problematic for trees.
Still to soon to be sure about the track and timing. Stay tuned.
