Philadelphia Weekend Weather Update - Sat AM
A continued somewhat blocked upper air pattern will give us cooler and less humid weather for the weekend. The surface pattern is poorly defined and there are differences between the NAM and GFS models, especially for Sunday's forecast. The NAM has considerably more clouds and showers than the GFS. I'm going with the the more optimistic GFS although confidence in Sunday's forecast is lower than usual.
Update: The sun should break out, before more clouds move in during the afternoon. High resolution NAM shows showers, especially north and east of the city, later this afternoon.
Sat 6/4: Partly sunny with increasing cloudiness during the afternoon. Showers likely in the evening. High 79.
Sun 6/5: Clouds and a possible light sprinkle early morning, then party sunny. Chance of a late afternoon shower. High 77.
