Philly Winter Weather Update- Mon 11 PM
Tonight's GFS model has much less snow than the NAM. It cranks out only 0.30 inches water. If we average the NAM and GFS, we're closer to 5 inches snow by daybreak. I guess we'll see tomorrow!

Philly Winter Weather Update- Mon 10 PM
Tonight's NAM model shows significantly more snow for Philadelphia. The NAM cranks out almost .50 inches water, falling as snow. The NAM has done well this season, so I'm raising the predicted snowfall for Philadelphia to 6-7 inches snow tonight. The storm still ends by daybreak tomorrow.

Philly Winter Weather Update- Mon 7 PM
The NAM and GFS models continue to crank out about .25 to .35 inches water falling as snow and ending before 7 AM Tuesday. This is for gridpoint PHL airport. Areas just to the north (NE Philadelphia airport) have about .10 inches less, so we will be on the northern fringe.

The latest HRRR model shows 3, possibly 4 inches for Philadelphia with areas just south of Philadelphia, southern Chester county, getting 5 inches.

I'll update later if things change.
