Philadelphia Week Weather Outlook- Tues PM
If you were surprised by the rain early today, so was I. The rain was not supposed to reach us until this evening. (Models at the end of last week suggested this, but backed off of todays rain.)
That said, the models are a little weak on the details in the short run. Which means confidence for the weekend forecast is a bit below normal.
Currently the models are showing a cold front moving through on Saturday, bringing light showers (the models have the energy shearing off to our west and north.) A low pressure system may form along the slowing front, bringing rain for Sunday. Again, confidence in the current forecast is lower than usual. Expect changes.
Sat 10/31: Mostly cloudy with showers in the afternoon. (tentative, low confidence forecast)
Sun 11/1: Cloudy with rain. (tentative, low confidence forecast)
