    Philadelphia Week Weather Outlook
Some blue sky was visible late this afternoon in the northwest suburbs.

High pressure will bring beautiful weather and moderating temps for most of the week. Unfortunately, a strong cold front with heavy rains may pass through next Saturday with clearing for Sunday.

Timing of this frontal passage may change as we approach the weekend, although the GFS has been consistent about this for many days.

Philadelphia Weekend Weather Forecast- Sun AM
The fantom nor'easter that the news/weather has been talking about has just begin to organize, as the area of low level moisture convergence moves north of us into New England today. Our steady rains of the past few days will taper significantly today and by afternoon, there will be only a chance of scattered intermittent showers. Indeed, I expect brights spots and possibly some sun to break through briefly today between those showers. The upper trough will keep things unsettled and cool

Sun 10/18: Cloudy and damp with light, scattered intermittent showers tapering through the day. There may be some bright spots and even a brief bit of sun possible to break through the showers. Breezy, cold. High 46
