Philadelphia Weekend Weather Outlook- Tues PM
The forecast for the weekend remains uncertain, aThe basic scenario involves the development of a sharp upper air trough in the Great Lakes area, associated the passage of a cold front on Friday.

Following the passage of the front on Friday, another low is expected to form in the Appalachians or along the coast, as the upper low closes off. Rain is likely on Saturday into early Sunday, but it's not clear whether the rain will be well-organized or continuous. The predicted jet configuration is quite anomalous for October, so confidence is low with current forecast.

Sat 10/17: Tentative: Cloudy with periods of rain likely. Breezy and cool. High 55.

Sun 10/18: Tentative: Cloudy with rain early, slow clearing and breezy. High 56.
