Philadelphia Weekend Weather Outlook- Wed AM
While we will have some relaxation of the winter pattern through Thursday (with temps approaching 50), winter will begin to make itself felt again over the weekend and for early next week. A deep trough will develop over us for the weekend and a clipper type disturbance will bring some clouds and a snow shower possible.

The current models show less of a deep trough for the weekend, meaning that temps won't fall as low as previously thought. A clipper disturbance may bring a snow shower or flurry for Sunday morning.

Sat 12/6: Partly sunny/cloudy and cold. High 41.

Sun 12/7: A mix of sun and clouds. Windy. Chance of a snow shower in the morning. High 40.

An anomalous lull in the sunspot number has resulted in many months of reduced solar energy reaching us. I believe this will give us an unseasonably cold (and stormy) winter. I first predicted this scenario in my
October 17th blog entry.. This is going to be a very interesting winter.
