Weekend Weather Forecast -Thurs Afternoon Update
Another low pressure system will move through the Great Lakes on Friday afternoon, with am associated upper disturbance giving us precipitation Friday afternoon and evening. Latest models have between 0.25 and 0.35 water falling as either rain or snow Friday evening and night. The models have temps warming during the night.

Uncertainty about surface temperatures may result in some light accumulation in center city. Areas to the north and west may get as much as 2-3 inches of snow.

The first day of March, Saturday, lives up to it's reputation. High winds expected on Saturday.

Sat 3/1: Cloudy in the morning with snow showers possible, a mix of clouds and sun in the afternoon. WINDY and cold. High 37

Sun 3/2: Sunny and seasonable. High 42.

Weekend Weather Forecast -Thurs AM Update
Another low pressure system will move through the Great Lakes on Friday afternoon, with am associated upper disturbance giving us precipitation Friday afternoon and evening. Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 30s so mostly rain is expected, but upper atmosphere temperatures will be cold enough to allow some snow to mix in. No accumulation expected in center city, but areas to the north and west of Philadelphia may have an inch, maybe two, of accumulation.

There is uncertainty as to whether low presure develops off of the coast on Saturday, giving us snow flurries or snow showers. Uncertain forecast for Saturday.

The first day of March, Saturday, lives up to it's reputation. High winds expected on Saturday.

Sat 3/1: Cloudy in the morning, a mix of clouds and sun in the afternoon. WINDY and cold. Snow showers possible. Uncertainty about this forecast. High 37

Sun 3/2: Sunny and seasonable. High 42.

For next week, computer models are suggesting a big storm for Wednesday, with very heavy rains expected.
