Weekend Weather Outlook - Fri
A strong cold front will pass through our area early Saturday morning. The latest NAM has about one quarter of an inch of rain 8 AM on Saturday, with rapid clearing afterwards. The GFS is much drier, with almost no rain for us.
Based on radar and recent similar scenarios, I think some precipitation is likely with this frontal passage, so I'm leaning towards the NAM model here.
Sat 9/15: Showers, ending before 8 AM, then rapid clearing late morning, with partly sunny skies. Some instability cloudiness in the afternoon. Windy and cool. High around 69.
Sun 9/16: Mostly sunny, some afternoon fair weather clouds. Breezy and very cool. High 65
