The latest GFS and NAM model now downplays the wave that is forecasted to develop along the front on Sunday. Sunday looks much better, with any showers waiting for evening.
Sat 8/4: Partly sunny and hot. High 97
Sun 8/5: A mix of clouds and sun. Less hot. Chance of showers during the evening hours. High 89.
