Winter Weather Update - Wed Eve 10:50 PM
As often happens with Alberta Clippers, the QPF totals have fallen to about 0.05 to 0.08 inches water. That's even a lighter coating than was previously expected. Don't expect much to accumulate by morning, especially with temperatures rising.

Winter Weather Update - Wed Eve
Latest GFS model data is consistent with about 0.12 inches water falling as snow. All models have temperatures rising towards morning, so while this precipitation will fall as snow, it will likely melt on paved surfaces and any wet dusting or coating on lawns will quickly melt in the morning.

Skies clear somewhat in the morning, but windy conditions will persist through the day. A cold front passes through mid-day Thursday and temperatures will plummet into the the very cold 20s by evening.

Philly Weekend Weather - Sat 11/26 and Sun 11/27
Cold weather should continue for the weekend as high pressure builds in. Some cloudiness for Sunday, as warm air returns northward to our west.

Before we get to the weekend, though, an Alberta clipper type system will affect our area tonight into Thanksgiving day. Temperatures aloft will be below freezing, so a light wet snow will fall before daybreak Thursday into the morning. About 0.10 inches water expected to fall, so grassy accumulations may be about a coating to an inch. Accumulations will be minimal, mostly on grassy surfaces.

Sat 11/26: Mostly sunny and cold. High near 40.

Sun 11/27: A mix of clouds and sun. High mid 40s.
