WEEKEND WEATHER FORECAST

The low pressure system that brought us the rain Friday (instead of Saturday) will be departing to the northeast early Saturday morning.

The latest models seem to have settled on the precipitation ending between 9 and 10 AM Saturday morning. The pressure gradient between the deepening low pressure system and the high pressure system that moves in will cause it to be quite windy. Instability cloudiness will linger into the mid to late afternoon.

Saturday—

High pressure moves in for Sunday.

HUGE CHANGE IN THE WEEKEND FORECAST

This evening’s latest models continue with the trend that was showing earlier in the day — The low pressure system that had been expected to give us rain all day Saturday now appears to be on a much faster track. Rain will likely end early to mid morning on Saturday! (Some models have it ending as early as 7 AM, some by 10 or 11 AM Saturday.)

Rain will start earlier, now during the morning hours Friday and will increase during the afternoon and night time hours Friday.
