MONDAY WEATHER UPDATE

The latest NBM and NAM NEST models show a minor wintry event for Monday morning.  Basically, the thrust of moisture that had been expected to move over cold air will move more east rather than northeast.  Additionally, temperatures won’t get as cold tonight as previously forecast.

So very little moisture and nighttime temps very close to 32° won’t be a setup for any significant snow or sleet/freezing rain. With such light precipitation, there won’t be any dynamic cooling.

Very light intermittent snow, starting 7-9 AM, will result in a coating at best.

Anything falling will mix with rain and change to all rain or sprinkles about noon. Temperatures rise slowly during the day.  Heavy rain expected about 10pm.
