I’ve been meaning to post these pictures of Eastern Bluebirds, seen last weekend (before the snow).    These birds are difficult to photograph close up; they seem very aware of people and they often fly off just as you get the camera focused.

With the snow today, we had a new visitor to our suet feeders- a female Yellow-bellied Sapsucker!    A first sighting for us!
