High pressure is expected to nose in from the northeast giving us sunny skies, lower dew points and seasonably warm temperatures.
Both Saturday and Sunday will be sunny with high temperatures 83-85 degrees.
The models haven’t been doing well predicting placement of showers and thunderstorms over the past two weeks. As an example, the heavy rains that had been expected Thursday ended up in West Virginia.
That said, the long range GFS model is showing a somewhat wet and unsettled period for us over the upcoming Fourth of July weekend. Stay tuned.
A large elongated area of high pressure will center itself over our region for the weekend giving us sunny skies and warm temperatures with low dew points.
