We were hoping to see some Rose Breasted Grosbeaks this season; we didn’t have any last year.   But we’ve been treated to these beautiful birds again this year.  We actually have seen two males and one female.Male enjoying the feeder…

Here’s the female.

The male Northern Flicker stands watch outside the tree nest while the female is inside.

He stands outside the nest for several minutes at a time, sometimes going inside briefly.
