Canadian Regional GEM and the Canadian Global “GEM” models- (Global Environmental Multiscale) are run as part of the Regional Deterministic Prediction System, RDPS and the Global Deterministic Prediction System, GDPS respectively.
The regional version for North America is run 4 times daily. Its forecasts extend up to 84 hours.
The Global version is run 2x daily at 00z and 12z and its forecasts extend up to 240 hours
