Saturday Update

Posted Saturday 05/02/26 @ 9:39 AM — There’s a transition to sun mixed with clouds just to the west of Philadelphia.

Originally Posted Fri 7:18 PM —A weak cold front moves through after midnight tonight (Fri) with light scattered showers. Very cool high pressure builds in with a dip in the jet for Saturday as a low in the western Atlantic moves northeast. There’s a possibility of very light showers at the Jersey Shore, but looking less and less likely.

Fair weather for Sunday.

Despite high pressure, the RRFS and GFS show significant cloudiness for our area on Saturday, perhaps breaking for sun later in the afternoon. Low clouds early then mid-level clouds. (Friday’s forecast for periods of clouds was overdone.) Highs: Blue Bell- 59º Philadelphia 61º ±2.5º

Sunday

Sunny and breezy and cool for early May. Highs: Blue Bell-58º Philadelphia 60º ±2.5º


Our next chance for rain is Wednesday into Thursday.
